Yes, our lifts can remove, transport, and precisely install a wide variety of IT equipment, including switches, routers, batteries, etc.

Yes, and yes! All of our attachments and accessories have been designed using customer feedback. And we would love to hear about your specific needs. We will pass your suggestions to our engineering team to see if a custom solution can be made. It is as simple as contacting our Client Experience team, who are ready to help.

Product Functionality

No, actually. Our lifts are designed to handle all of the realities of data center environments. They:

  • Fit in standard elevators (except for the SL-500FLX™ TowerLIFT).
  • Roll easily over floor obstructions, such as overfloor cord protectors and cable mats—without tipping.
  • Fit through standard doorways (except for the SL-500FLX™ TowerLIFT).
  • Can load equipment from the floor level up to more than 52U high (8 feet, or 2.44 meters).
    Can travel up grades up to a maximum of 6 degrees.
  • Can remove and install equipment from the front or the sides.
  • Can extend the equipment into the rack, using a ServerLIFT shelf extension, adding 9.5 inches to the platform for a full 20 inches of forward equipment support.
  • Can tilt the platform up to 2 degrees for exact removal and installation.

No! Our lifts are self-supporting. There is no need for the lift to be strapped to a rack. Each lift has a built-in stabilizer, activated by a convenient foot pedal at the base of the lift. This ensures that the lift will not move while equipment is removed or installed.

The ServerLIFT family of data center lifts are the safety-certified lifts certified by OSHA, NIOS, CE, FC, IC, KC and UL, and the ISO. Our customers report a 100% accident-free record after starting to use our lifts. There are no cable pinch points on our lifts, unlike others on the market. Lifts come with a telescoping platform TouchStop™ safety switch that senses when the lift is about to touch an overhead obstruction and ceases to rise. Equipment weighing up to 1000 pounds (454 kilograms) can be raised or lowered with the push of a button. Ergonomic Easy-Turn Swivel Handles are easy to grip and offer complete lift control. There’s a Fine Adjustment Pendant that controls the speed and precise alignment of equipment as they are being removed or installed.

In any other jurisdiction, the purchaser is responsible for paying all applicable sales and use taxes.

You may purchase ServerLIFT® products through your favorite reseller or distributor or directly from ServerLIFT® Corporation. If your preferred reseller or distributor does not offer our products, please let us know, and we will work to make your buying experience as smooth as possible. However you buy, we highly recommend that you register your purchase so that we have all the information needed to provide any service notices.
Yes, our 30-day Money Back Guarantee. Satisfaction is guaranteed for every ServerLIFT® data center lift and attachment. When requesting a return or replacement, you’ll need to make the request and return the product within 30 days from purchase. Please provide proof of purchase, including the order invoice or serial/packing slip number. Yes, using our Buyback Program. Customers use this option when their current data center lift (one not manufactured by ServerLIFT® or a legacy ServerLIFT® brand model) is not reaching expectations, or worse, putting their operators in danger. We strongly recommend having ServerLIFT® Corporation ship the goods to your dock (or port of entry for international shipments) to avoid mishandling or shipment damage. ServerLIFT Corporation protects against shipping losses by handling every shipment of goods with our own time-tested, experienced carriers covered by our own insurance policy. Our insurance cannot cover any damage for shipments not using carriers hired and paid for by ServerLIFT® Corporation. You can take possession of the goods somewhere other than the final destination, whether you use our carriers or your own. If you choose to make your own shipping arrangements, you can do so under FOB Origin terms. If you do so:
  • We strongly recommend that you utilize the services of a van line or moving company instead of common freight carriers, such as FedEx Freight, Yellow, Roadway, etc.
  • If you use your carriers, ServerLIFT® holds no liability or responsibility for what happens to the equipment after it leaves our dock. We strongly recommend that you arrange for insurance to cover any potential damage during shipping. A release of liability waiver will be required.
  • Note that for international destinations, international pricing and export documentation fees still apply even if you take possession within the United States.
The tracking number we provide is an internal ServerLIFT® number. We do not use traditional carriers, so tracking details that would allow you to regularly check the status of a shipment are not available for our shipments. We also utilize our own network of carriers, so pointing to one for a specific shipment would not be meaningful. The delivery also depends on the appointment window the receiving party requests with our dispatch. Once delivery has occurred, we will send out a delivery notification that includes the date delivered and the name of the receiver who signed for it.

Yes, we offer special delivery services for an additional fee that can be selected on our delivery questionnaire which is sent to you upon receipt of your order.

Yes. We offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) and IOR (Importer of Record) services for an additional fee. Under DAT (Delivered at Terminal) or DAP (Delivered at Place) Incoterms, the customer is responsible for VAT, customs clearance, etc.

Yes!  While every data center should be using ServerLIFT® equipment, we do understand that some sites have other legacy devices on hand that may need repair from time to time.  We do offer service for fixing other, non-ServerLIFT® equipment. While we cannot guarantee success or that the other manufacturer will have parts available, our network of technicians will do their best.  If your other brand equipment can’t be fixed, keep our popular Buyback Program in mind – we’ll give you credit for your old device – working or not – against the purchase of a new ServerLIFT® machine.

ServerLIFT® offers preventative maintenance through our optional service contract and extended warranty. However, the devices are designed to handle years of regular use with little or no maintenance. To extend the life of the onboard battery, it is important to keep the unit charging when not in use.

To maintain our client’s privacy and security, ServerLIFT® does not keep records of the key profile for each device. We recommend having duplicate keys made and keeping them in a secure area. If you have lost all keys, ServerLIFT® can provide a replacement lock and key set that can be installed by you or a ServerLIFT® technician.

Every ServerLIFT® data center lifting device is sold with a limited one-year warranty that covers the replacement, including shipping, of parts that have failed under normal use conditions. This does not include the labor or onsite service to swap out the old part(s) with the new one(s).

ServerLIFT® does offer one, three, and five-year extended service and warranty contracts that include onsite labor when needed. These warranty extensions include a year-end or mid-term onsite preventative maintenance service.

There shouldn’t be anything wrong with your ServerLIFT® device and it is safe to use. This sound is normal and expected. The brake winch gears turn against the clutch, which causes the clicking sound.
