ServerLIFT® News | December 2022

We are thankful for so much this year. Making a list of our top ten was pretty easy. Last month, we talked about things 6-10 on our list that we are grateful for. Here we list the top 5 things we are thankful for.

man with his back hurting showing spots of injury5. Humble beginnings. ServerLIFT® began with the mission to provide the safest and most effective tools and solutions for physically handling rack-mounted IT equipment. We are blessed to see the successful fruition of our mission, which is underpinned by our core values: Respect, Integrity, Innovation, Value, and Improvement. In the early part of the 21st century, worker safety was considered a baseline requirement for all businesses to provide. Data centers were an exception; workers were routinely expected to manually handle very heavy equipment. Debilitating and serious injuries were not uncommon. ServerLIFT® stepped in to work to successfully solve this problem. We continue that successful track record of helping to provide a safe environment for data center workers.

4. Colo facilities. Colocation facilities provide a much-needed service to clients who don’t need or want to run their own data center. We are increasingly seeing colocation facilities that value the benefit and necessity of offering and using safe, ServerLIFT®-brand data center lifts as an amenity for their clients.

Over the years, we have seen more data center managers—and their managers—become more aware of the need for a “safety first” environment for their data center workers. Data center equipment has become heavier and more expensive, but that’s not the only reason. One injured team member is one too many. Plus, good help is hard to find. Managers are realizing that achieving a 100% accident-free environment is achievable, with the right equipment and processes. Check out our “Data Center Safety Has No Age” video and “Does Someone Need to Hurt Their Back First?” video.

Group of people with their hands in a circle2. The ServerLIFT® team. We have an amazing team that shows up every day and goes the extra mile to provide our clients with outstanding support. From answering questions about our products to helping our clients find the best data center lift solution, our team is dedicated to providing the highest level of service.

It’s fun to check up periodically to see how we can help; this always leads to interesting conversations and creative solutions. For example, a customer that has a tiny lab, which also houses their servers, asked us to help them find a way to install small servers in a two-post rack. The space is even too small for our data center lifts, so we helped them find a portable shelf from another company that they can use to install their servers. We are grateful for all the wonderful testimonials and Google Reviews our clients have given us. We welcome your feedback. If you haven’t given us any feedback yet, we invite you to let us know how we’re doing.

If you need service for all your data center equipment, we’re here to help! One vendor. No hassles. Complete satisfaction. Call us at (602) 254-1557 to schedule your service today.

Stay safe,
