Yes, we make both a manual lift, which is just as rugged and safe for your data center equipment moves as our motorized lifts. But we sell more motorized lifts. Why? It comes down to frequency and quantity. If you have a small data center and you move equipment very infrequently, our manual lift, which lifts up to 350 pounds using a hand-cranking mechanism, might be just right. You’ll still get a solid lift that is safe to operate (no pinch points, stable on its own without strapping to a rack, dependable brakes, and precision alignment functionality). But if you are moving equipment more than “occasionally,” and your equipment is more than 350 pounds, you’re better off with one of our two motorized, push-button lifts, the SL-500X® Electric Lift, or the SL-1000X®  Electric Lift. The SL-500X is our most popular lift, and it comes in both side-loading and front-loading versions (in case you have more than five feet available in front of your racks). But as data center equipment becomes heavier and more dense, we are selling more SL-1000X lifts. In all cases, though, one operator can safely install equipment with zero risk of injury.
