How Many Lifts Can Be Charged Using One Outlet?

Recently a customer contacted our Client Experience team to ask about the current draw at 110v to determine how many data center lifts could be connected to the same outlet via a power strip.

We told them that most outlets run on a 15 or 20 amp fuse and that our lifts draw from 5-10 amps at a time. We recommended plugging in no more than two of our lifts per 110v outlet with or without power strips.
