Will The Lift Work On Graded Flooring/Ramps?

Sometimes the question arises whether our lifts will go up graded flooring and ramps. Yes, all ServerLIFT® brand lifts can traverse ramps within your data center. They are designed with ADA (American with Disabilities Act) requirements in mind. The SL-350X®, SL-500X®, and SL-500FX® models can traverse grades up to a maximum of 6 degrees. For the SL-1000X®, the maximum grade is 3.9 degrees.
Should I Be Able to Move Our Lift Even With The Stabilizer Brake Engaged?

Customer’s sometimes mistake our data center lift brakes for typical brakes. In reality, our brakes are actually stabilizer brakes. The primary function of the stabilizer brake is to provide device stability when moving equipment side to side on the sliding platform. The stabilizer brake also has a secondary function: preventing movement of the data center lift when raising, lowering, or loading equipment. If the lift moves easily with the stabilizer brakes engaged, please check that both the stabilizer brake rubber boots are installed and that the braking system locks when engaged. If not, contact our Service and Support Team for assistance.
How Long Do The Batteries In My Data Center Lift Typically Last?

On occasion our Client Experience team is asked “How long do your data center lift batteries typically last”? The answer is that under ideal conditions our standard, deep-cycle batteries last three to five years. When maintained according to our instructions, they have been known to last up to a decade. Batteries that are allowed to get very low before being recharged will not last as long and, in some cases, may fail to recharge, necessitating the purchase of a new battery.
How Often Should I Charge My Data Center Lift?

Customers often ask our Client Experience team “How often should I charge my lift”? The answer is that to maximize the life of the battery, we recommend keeping the data center lift plugged in and charging when not in use for extended periods. Keeping it unplugged for extended periods will drain and reduce the capacity of the battery.
Happy Customers Even During Uncertain Times

A customer placed an order with us but soon realized he had placed the order incorrectly. Unfortunately, because of how his company’s system was set up, he had to restart the ordering process from scratch. We worked with him to place the correct order, but some supply chain delays pushed his order out further than expected. This customer called regularly to track the status of his order. He was completely understanding of our situation. He told us that we are always wonderful to work with and always very supportive. That’s great news to us, because during uncertain times and issues with supply chain delays, we do our very best to […]
Need Help? Call ServerLIFT!

Last week, we had a gentleman call us in search of specific parts for his material lift. He had been trying to locate them for a while to no avail. We know how tiring and frustrating that process can be. And even though we don’t carry parts for lifts other than our own, we immediately sprang into action to assist him. First, we offered to locate the manufacturer that had the parts he needed. Next, we looked up the number for the manufacturer and gave it to the gentleman so he could call. The gentleman was deeply touched by our willingness to go above and beyond to make sure he […]
Have A Short Deadline? We Do Everything In Our Power To Help.

We recently had an order that we shipped out, but it began to look as if it was not going to arrive on time to meet their deadline. We called our carrier and, even though this was happening right in the middle of the heavy-shipping-season holidays, they were able to get the unit to our customer on time. As a result, the customer was able to start their project on time. We love the challenge of doing all that we can to help our customers when they need it.
