As we enter the last half of 2026 (already?!), our focus remains the same: We want to help you stay safe, efficient, and up to date on the latest data center happenings that might affect your daily operations. Here are our highlights for this month:
1. The Top 5 Functions of Data Centers in the Aerospace Industry
Without data centers, the aerospace industry as we know it would not exist. If you’ve never peeked behind the curtain into the fascinating world of aerospace data centers, read our latest blog post. Every time you think about satellite weather data collection or airplane component supply chains, you’ll know the details of what’s going on behind the scenes.
2. Anthropic secured a 20-year lease for a TeraWulf data center in Kentucky.
Anthropic has locked into a 20-year lease for a 400-megawatt facility about an hour southwest of Louisville, Kentucky. Because the lease will generate an estimated $19 billion in revenue for TeraWulf, the company’s shares have exploded since Anthropic signed on the dotted line. This move signals Anthropic’s long-term view and confidence that the demand for its AI products will remain high.
Not every data center fits the stereotype of having narrow, crowded, but hyper-organized aisles. If your facility has ample space or obstacles that would prevent using a standard side-loading lift, you need the SL-500FX™ Electric Front-Loading Data Center Lift. It’s purpose-built to handle uniquely configured data centers with ease.
4. The FE-3X™ Extended Shelf attachment makes rack obstacles a problem of the past.
Designed to work seamlessly with the SL-500FX™ Electric Front-Loading Data Center Lift, the FE-3X™ Extended Shelf attachment provides up to 20 full inches of reach inside rack spaces. If obstacles prevent you from getting as close to the rack as you’d like for installations, the FE-3X™ Extended Shelf attachment will be your new best friend.
We are dedicated to helping you find the perfect lifting solution for your data center. If you have unique needs or issues you need to work around, just let us know! Our Client Experience Team consists of experts in selecting lifts and attachments to make every install safe and easy.
