Why We Recommend Shipping Your Lift With Our Preferred Carriers
ServerLIFT uses carriers that specialize in moving services or that operate with a white glove service standard to ensure that our products arrive at their final destination in great shape. We contract with van lines that are familiar with moving our products. ServerLIFT pallets are tall and heavy. They are at risk for shipping mishandling by carriers unfamiliar with our products. We therefore strongly recommend against using common freight carriers (such as FedEx Freight, UPS Freight, Roadway, etc.). How Many Lifts Can Be Charged Using One Outlet?
Recently a customer contacted our Client Experience team to ask about the current draw at 110v to determine how many data center lifts could be connected to the same outlet via a power strip. We told them that most outlets run on a 15 or 20 amp fuse and that our lifts draw from 5-10 amps at a time. We recommended plugging in no more than two of our lifts per 110v outlet with or without power strips.

Nice Customer Helps Us Help Other Customers
A customer had ordered 15 of our SL-1000X® Super-Duty lifts. We packed and prepared them for shipment. More than a week later the customer still had not come to pick up the freight. The freight was taking up space in our warehouse making it hard for us to get other orders packed for customers who were ready for their orders to ship. We reached out to the customer and said we’d be happy to build his lifts when they were ready. They didn’t mind. This turned out to be a win-win. We helped a lot of customers get orders fulfilled while the original customer worked out their shipment logistics.
Customer Will “Never Go Back” Now That He’s Tried Our Lift!
We received some very nice feedback from a new and now lifetime customer. He said one of our data center lifts was purchased by another facility in his company. He used that lift a couple of times and said he could never go back to the “junk we have in our own facility.” He has been working in this field for more than 30 years and said that these are far and away the nicest lifts he has ever encountered.
