In our first piece, we highlight our blog article on hyperscale data center safety, sustainability, and resilient infrastructure. Second, we demonstrate how China is addressing the challenges that all AI data centers face. Third, we discuss how ServerLIFT is scaling up to meet an increased need for our data center lifts, attachments, and accessories. And last, we recognize our employees’ incredible work by promoting them to new positions where they can shine even brighter.
1. Hyperscale Data Centers: Safety, Sustainability, and Resilient Infrastructure
Discover how hyperscale data centers safeguard personnel, equipment, and data, minimize environmental impact, and deliver resilient infrastructure that scales quickly and remains online through grid failures or severe weather.
2. China Puts AI Data Centers In the Ocean
China is expanding its AI capacity by sinking a wind-powered, 198-rack data center six miles off the coast of Shanghai, after proving the concept with a pilot off the coast of Hainan. The underwater design pumps seawater through radiators, reducing electricity use by at least 30 percent and lowering freshwater demand compared to land-based facilities, enabling China to leapfrog Microsoft’s now-paused Project Natick. Scientists note the low-carbon promise but caution that warmer discharge and vulnerability to acoustic attacks could threaten marine ecosystems and security.
3. ServerLIFT Continues to Improve Our Client Experience
ServerLIFT is scaling to meet your needs. Our standard shipping lead times are now 2–4 weeks from receiving your purchase order and shipping details, with many shipments arriving even sooner.
