A typical day for your data center floor employees involves unpacking heavy servers, lifting them onto transport equipment, moving them across the floor, and positioning them in racks. Then they do it all over again.
The work is exhausting, and every manual lift increases the risk of injury, equipment damage, and serious safety incidents. Near misses are warnings. The next one could have real consequences.
There’s a better way to safely accomplish all these tasks.
Il SL-500FXL™ TowerLIFT™ Electric Extended Data Center Lift safely lifts IT equipment weighing up to 500 pounds to a platform height of 137 inches. Its forward-sliding platform supports equipment up to 11.5 inches into the rack, while SmartTILT™ adjustment helps technicians align equipment precisely. The dual-point stabilizer brake keeps the lift rigid during transfers, and the TouchSTOP® overhead sensor helps prevent contact with ceilings and other obstructions.
Compatible attachments include:
- GT-1000X™ Glide Platform Attachment: Rollers reduce friction when moving equipment onto or off the platform. A built-in brake secures the load during transport.
- RS-500X™ J-Rail Assist Attachment: Controls the equipment angle during installation into or removal from slotted rails.
- RL-500™ Platform Riser Attachment: Raises the platform 15.75 inches for installations at the top of tall racks.
- VMH-500X™ Vertical Module Handler Attachment: Stabilizes vertically oriented chassis during handling and installation.
- GR-500X™ Multi-Axis Roller Table Attachment: Omnidirectional ball bearings allow precise equipment positioning.
- WS-3X™ Wide Shelf Attachment: Provides a 30-inch-wide surface for equipment with wide structural frames.
- FE-3X™ Extended Shelf Attachment: Extends equipment support up to 20 inches into the rack.
