While our front-loading data center lifts have the same fine adjustment as our side-loading data center lifts, sometimes more precision is needed to rack servers.
This is where the ServerLIFT GR-500FX front-load roller table for our front-loading data center lifts is essential. The “GR” stands for “glide roller,” and we call it the 500FX because it works with both the SL-500FX™ and SL-500FXL™ front-loading data center lifts.
The GR-500FX attachment serves as an omnidirectional roller table, taking the effort out of sliding heavy servers forward, backward, right, left, or wherever you need them to go. With the GR-500FX, you can gently glide IT equipment into its perfect position, making minute adjustments as you go, without having to lift, tilt, or otherwise put your muscles and appendages at risk.
Data center IT equipment handling with the GR-500FX roller table is safer, easier, and faster than with high-friction surfaces. It’s important to recognize that using this accessory does not sacrifice stability for maneuverability. Once you get the heavy IT equipment positioned correctly with the data center lift, simply engage the brakes. The braking mechanism will prevent further rolling, so you don’t have to worry about losing control of IT equipment during installations or removals.
