1. GPUs Fuel the Data Center AI Boom
GPUs have reshaped data centers by accelerating AI and HPC workloads far beyond CPUs. Data centers now need more power, advanced cooling, and stronger racks to support them.
2. Increased Data Center Demand Creates Historically Low Vacancy Rates
Data center vacancy rates fell to a record‑low 2.3 percent, even as total capacity climbed to 15.5 GW amid relentless demand for digital infrastructure. Northern Virginia led capacity with 5.6 GW—over three times that of Dallas‑Fort Worth, and cloud firms and tech companies drove 65 percent of leasing activity.
3. Data Center Lift Attachments: LE-Series™ Lift Extensions
The ServerLIFT LE-500X™ and LE-1000X™ Lift Extensions let operators lift servers, switches, UPS devices, and other rack equipment straight out of boxes or off pallets without damaging packaging. They eliminate the need to unpack or lift equipment by hand, removing the strain from the job.
4. Client Experience Team News: Vastly Improved Lead Times
Great news! Our standard lead times for orders with 10 or fewer lifts are now 2–4 weeks from receipt of your purchase order and shipping details. In many cases, we’re able to ship even sooner. While these are still estimates, most orders are shipping on time or ahead of schedule.
