ServerLIFT® News | June 2025

It’s hot outside! This poses a serious risk to data centers, making it crucial to monitor temperature, humidity, and dew point using reliable sensors. Data centers must ensure they have adequate cooling to avoid system shutdowns. Maintaining proper refrigerant charge levels also ensures efficient operation and prevents costly overheating or unit failure.

1. AI Reshapes Data Center Networking

AI transforms data center networking by driving demand for ultra-high-bandwidth, low-latency infrastructure and prompting upgrades to advanced networking chips and optical backend systems. AI-powered traffic engineering and multi‑layer automation dynamically manage congestion, power use, and predictive maintenance.

2. Water, Water . . . Not Everywhere

As data centers become more powerful, they increasingly rely on vast quantities of water for cooling, even in water-scarce regions such as California, Texas, and Arizona. Emerging technologies, such as cold plates, immersion cooling, and water-treatment systems, can reduce water use by up to 50 percent by utilizing non-potable sources.

3. Helping Our Customers

We love helping our customers solve their problems. Recently, our Director of Client Experience was on-site with a customer and discovered they needed a larger platform for their lift. The customer was unaware that ServerLIFT sold an attachment to solve that problem. Not only did the customer purchase that attachment, but several others as well.

4. Newly Designed Support Materials Page

We have redesigned our Support Materials page to make it easier for our customers to review our lifts and access all the support materials we provide for them with a single click on the blue button below each lift. We also list attachments that are compatible with each lift model.

Keep your data center lift in optimum shape. Routine maintenance will keep your lift in good working order for years to come. We offer maintenance services to all our customers. If you’d like maintenance on your ServerLIFT device, please contact us online or call us at (602) 254-1557.
