On occasion our Client Experience team is asked “How long do your data center lift batteries typically last”? The answer is that under ideal conditions our standard, deep-cycle batteries last three to five years. When maintained according to our instructions, they have been known to last up to a decade.
Batteries that are allowed to get very low before being recharged will not last as long and, in some cases, may fail to recharge, necessitating the purchase of a new battery.
