Internet das coisas atingir\u00e1 26 bilh\u00f5es de unidades at\u00e9 2020<\/strong>
\nDe acordo com recente Gartner<\/a> Segundo a pesquisa, a Internet das Coisas (IoT) deve subir para 26 bilh\u00f5es de unidades conectadas at\u00e9 2020. Isso representa um enorme aumento de 30 vezes em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos 900 milh\u00f5es registrados em 2009 e indica que a IoT ser\u00e1 uma presen\u00e7a dominante em TI nos pr\u00f3ximos poucos anos. Prev\u00ea-se que as receitas provenientes do mercado da Internet das Coisas superem $300 bilh\u00f5es, com os servi\u00e7os a for\u00e7a motriz do crescimento. A IoT, respons\u00e1vel por uma rede de dispositivos f\u00edsicos com capacidade de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, n\u00e3o inclui tecnologias convencionais, como smartphones, tablets e PCs.<\/p>\n

A pesquisa, que compilou respostas de mais de 2.800 entrevistas com representantes de empresas em 24 pa\u00edses, constatou que 25% das empresas atualmente ou planejam impor restri\u00e7\u00f5es ao uso de dispositivos em 2013. Esse desenvolvimento \u00e9 encorajador, pois representa um aumento de 6% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a os 19% das empresas que restringiram o uso do BYOD em 2012. \nFrigid temperatures weren’t the only thing happening in Antarctica this week. Australia recently constructed a cellular network in its Antarctic territorial claim, GigaOM reported. The Antarctic division of the Australian Department of the Environment partnered with Range Networks to build an independent and self-contained communications network in which calls are switched and managed onsite. Initially, the system can support 400 mobile phones and 800 landlines. The GSM network’s first station is on Macquarie Island, which is about halfway between Antarctica and Australia, and although it requires satellites to connect to the rest of the world, it could create a grid for incorporation with other research stations and facilitate better real-time connection with Earth’s southern-most continent.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
