On all of our data center lifts, there is a height difference from the lifting surface to the very top of the lift. It\u2019s only a few inches, and it\u2019s predominantly there for safety reasons. In most cases, our clients don\u2019t need the lift platform to top out at the exact same height as the lift itself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The RL-500\u2122 Platform Riser attaches to the platform of any ServerLIFT data center lift and raises the functional height of the platform by 12 inches (30.48 cm). This closes the height gap between the lifting platform and the top of the lift, allowing you to easily complete top-of-the-rack installations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When you use a platform riser, you\u2019re eliminating the built-in touch-stop safety feature that is a default function on all ServerLIFT data center lifts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For that reason, we\u2019ve made this bolt-on extension easy to add and remove. You can put it on when you need to reach the top of the rack for a high installation, and then remove it for most daily tasks where the touch-stop safety feature is important.
