Server hardware can produce a lot of excess heat when running at peak capacity. Data center operators have to ensure that this excess heat does not overheat their server equipment. According to researchers from the University of Toronto’s Computer Science Department, not only do the world’s data centers use approximately 1 percent of the world’s electricity, but between 33 and 50 percent of a facility’s electricity bill typically goes toward powering cooling devices.

Laut Intel & #8220; ermöglicht unser System die Versorgung des Gebäudes mit kaltem und heißem Wasser unter Verwendung desselben Systems. Kessel müssen nicht mehr hinzugefügt werden. Durch die Reduzierung des Kraftstoffverbrauchs reduziert dieses System die Emissionen von CO2 und Stickoxiden (NOx) und spart Geld. Darüber hinaus wird dieses System Intel dabei helfen, eine Umweltzertifizierung für diese Einrichtung zu erhalten, die wiederum das Umweltprofil von Intel unterstützt. & #8221;

Winter is here, and data centers can prepare themselves accordingly by channeling the excess heat generated from server hardware to keep others warm during the season.
