Od roku 2007 je PUE masivn\u011b p\u0159ijata pr\u016fmyslem datov\u00fdch center a nyn\u00ed se pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 jako standard p\u0159i m\u011b\u0159en\u00ed spot\u0159eby energie. Podle <a href=\"http:\/\/www.datacenterknowledge.com\/archives\/2011\/05\/10\/uptime-institute-the-average-pue-is-1-8\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Uptime Institute<\/a>, typick\u00e9 datov\u00e9 centrum m\u00e1 pr\u016fm\u011brnou PUE 2,5, odhaduje, \u017ee v\u011bt\u0161ina za\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed by mohla dos\u00e1hnout 1,6 PUE, pokud bude nej\u00fa\u010dinn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed <a href=\"https:\/\/serverlift.com\/cs\/\">vybaven\u00ed datov\u00e9ho centra<\/a> a byly zavedeny osv\u011bd\u010den\u00e9 postupy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6396 size-full\" title=\"Power_Usage_Effectiveness\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Power_Usage_Effectiveness.png\" alt=\"PUE\" width=\"244\" height=\"46\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">P\u0159esto\u017ee PUE v\u00fdrazn\u011b zv\u00fd\u0161ila energetickou \u00fa\u010dinnost datov\u00fdch center a u\u010dinila pr\u016fmysl proaktivn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm v postupech v oblasti zelen\u00e9 energie, zd\u00e1 se, \u017ee v posledn\u00ed dob\u011b se PUE jev\u00ed sp\u00ed\u0161e jako \u010d\u00edslo, kter\u00e9 by m\u011blo vyst\u0159elit na m\u00e9dia, ne\u017e skute\u010dn\u00fd \u00fa\u010det o celkov\u00e9 spot\u0159eb\u011b energie v datov\u00e9m centru. Denn\u011b je toto odv\u011btv\u00ed bombardov\u00e1no zpr\u00e1vami \u201ePUE m\u00e9ho nov\u00e9ho datov\u00e9ho centra je jedna te\u010dka-x\u201c, ale up\u0159\u00edmn\u011b \u0159e\u010deno, u\u017e se nikoho opravdu nezaj\u00edm\u00e1. Ji\u017e nen\u00ed PUE skute\u010dn\u00fdm \u00fa\u010dtem energetick\u00e9 \u00fa\u010dinnosti, ale v\u00edce vymyslen\u00fdm \u010d\u00edslem, kter\u00e9 v\u00e1m d\u00e1v\u00e1 vychvalovac\u00ed pr\u00e1va na n\u011bkolik dn\u00ed p\u0159ed p\u0159\u00ed\u0161t\u00ed nejnov\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, nejni\u017e\u0161\u00ed<strong> PUE<\/strong> je ozn\u00e1meno.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Jak jsem \u0159ekl v\u00fd\u0161e, PUE v\u00e1m m\u00e1 poskytnout p\u0159ehled o celkov\u00e9 spot\u0159eb\u011b energie v datov\u00e9m centru. Ale s tendenc\u00ed nezahrnout komunika\u010dn\u00ed syst\u00e9my, bezpe\u010dnostn\u00ed syst\u00e9my mimo osv\u011btlen\u00ed, ob\u011bdov\u00e9 m\u00edstnosti, toalety, potla\u010den\u00ed po\u017e\u00e1ru, nouzov\u00e9 osv\u011btlen\u00ed, v podstat\u011b cokoli nap\u00e1jen\u00e9ho ze zdroje energie, do tohoto \u010d\u00edsla, va\u0161e PUE je opravdu jen v\u00fdm\u011bna, kter\u00e1 v\u00e1m pom\u016f\u017ee vypadat jako m\u00e1te nejni\u017e\u0161\u00ed PUE na planet\u011b. V podstat\u011b je to sout\u011b\u017e o popularitu v oboru, va\u0161e PUE v\u00e1m m\u016f\u017ee pomoci vyhr\u00e1t Prom Queen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Tak hezk\u00e9, jak va\u0161e \u010d\u00edslo PUE m\u016f\u017ee vypadat, jak n\u00edzk\u00e9 a n\u00e1dhern\u00e9, jak to m\u016f\u017ee zn\u00edt, a jak popul\u00e1rn\u00ed si mysl\u00edte, \u017ee to z v\u00e1s ud\u011bl\u00e1, jen v\u00edte, jestli je to opravdu \u201eprav\u00e1\u201c PUE. Pokud jste ochotni p\u0159iznat (i kdy\u017e je to pouze pro v\u00e1s a u\u017e o tom nikdy nemluv\u00edte ...), jak\u00e1 je va\u0161e skute\u010dn\u00e1 celkov\u00e1 spot\u0159eba datov\u00e9ho centra, m\u016f\u017eete za\u010d\u00edt spr\u00e1vn\u011b \u0159\u00eddit spot\u0159ebu energie v datov\u00e9m centru. D\u00edky tomuto pravdiv\u00e9mu mal\u00e9mu po\u010dtu m\u016f\u017eete za\u010d\u00edt porozum\u011bt v\u00fdkonu va\u0161eho IT na watt a p\u0159ijmout p\u0159esn\u00e9 m\u00edry vyu\u017eit\u00ed, bitov\u00fd provoz, \u00falo\u017ei\u0161t\u011b, pracovn\u00ed zat\u00ed\u017een\u00ed a taktovac\u00ed cykly. Kdy\u017e je v\u0161e \u0159e\u010deno a hotovo, na \u010dem z\u00e1le\u017e\u00ed, je v\u00e1\u0161 provozuschopnost, va\u0161e schopnost splnit nebo p\u0159ekro\u010dit va\u0161e SLA a IT pot\u0159eby a spln\u011bn\u00ed va\u0161ich energetick\u00fdch c\u00edl\u016f.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Tak\u017ee ano, PUE je skv\u011bl\u00e1. M\u016f\u017ee to v\u00fdrazn\u011b zv\u00fd\u0161it efektivitu a pomoci zv\u00fd\u0161it v\u00fdkon IT na watt za den. Jd\u011bte do toho a trochu si vymyslete \u010d\u00edslo, pokud opravdu chcete b\u00fdt pro tento den \u201equarterbackem\u201c datov\u00e9ho centra, ale ud\u011blejte v\u0161em laskavost, a pros\u00edm, vyk\u0159ikn\u011bte to ze st\u0159ech se zpr\u00e1vou The Green Grid nebo The Green Grid EPA. Jsem si jist\u00fd, \u017ee se m\u016f\u017eete spojit, kdy\u017e \u0159eknu, \u017ee jsme v\u0161ichni trochu nemocn\u00ed neust\u00e1l\u00fdmi zpr\u00e1vami a hlukem PUE, kter\u00fd upch\u00e1v\u00e1 na\u0161e upozorn\u011bn\u00ed Google.
